Hanging our show in Tuscany, art critique, meals and more….
We are celebrating today Studio Italia’s mid-session with a show at La Fratta’s beautifully restored i Salotti di Fattoria. Around 10h00 and after a few cups of coffee, we decided on the works to be exhibited as well as on the titles and prices. By 11h00 all our works were professionally hung and visitors started to arrive. Part of the proceeds from sales will go to La Misericordia. Afternoon is being devoted to our group art critique and later, aperitif time with the locals!
Already day number 6 of our painting workshop in Tuscany! Time flies indeed when you are having fun! We are very happy with our animated group of artists and art lovers from Australia, Canada, and Colombia. Up to now we have not stopped! Productive painting session at our lodge and in beautiful villages including Cortona, Montepulciano and Pienza; interesting art theory and art history lectures (the trecento, the renaissance, impressionism…); very pleasant aperitifs in local bar and enthusiastic discussions around exquisite and artistic meals at our lodge (pollo con olive, suino alla Martino, salciccie alla Toscana, vitello bianco con funghi porcini…). And on top of everything, weather has been gorgeous!
We’ll come back with more stories about our painting workshop in Tuscany!
